Women’s Tennis Takes Down Trinity, Falls at Tufts

MEDFORD, Mass. – The Bowdoin women’s tennis team had a split NESCAC weekend with a clean 7-0 win at Trinity and tough 5-2 setback at Tufts.

The Polar Bears are 8-6 overall with a 5-2 NESCAC record heading into the final weekend of regular season action.

  • Hung and Pogorelec were the lone doubles pairing to win, cruising 6-0 at #2.
  • Pogorelec’s strong day continued with a three-set win at #2 singles (6-2, 2-6, 6-4).
  • Sun won at #4 singles in a back and forth match. Sun battled back from a tiebreaker loss in set one (6-7, 7-5, 1-0). The third was won 11-9.
