Women’s Tennis Clobbers Connecticut And Falls to Wesleyan

BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Bowdoin women’s tennis team posted split results over the weekend following a 7-0 win over Connecticut College and 5-2 loss to Wesleyan.

The Polar Bears are 7-5 with a 4-1 NESCAC record.

  • Bowdoin opened the matching by winning two out of three doubles matches to earn a team point. Zoe Sun and Hartung wont 6-3 at the top spot. Hung and Pogorelec wend 6-2 at #2.
  • Five out of six singles matches were decided in three sets.
  • The only Bowdoin player to come out on top in a deciding third set was Hung who ultimately won 7-6, 3-6, 6-3 at #1.
  • Both Pogorelec and Ross fell in third set tie-breakers.
