BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Bowdoin baseball team dropped a seven-inning decision at home to the University of Southern Maine in a 12-1 final on Thursday night.
The Polar Bears drop to 11-14 as the Huskies climb to 20-6.

- USM scored in every inning to cruise past the Polar Bears.
- The Huskies scored one run each in the first and second innings and doubled the tally in the third.
- Carter Higgins hit a grand slam to left in the fourth.
