Men’s Lacrosse Celebrates Senior Day With Blowout of UMass-Boston

BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Bowdoin College men’s lacrosse team celebrated Senior Day with a dominant 25-4 win over UMass-Boston on Saturday night at Whittier Field. The Polar Bears, ranked second in the latest USILA Division III poll, move to 12-0 on the season while the Beacons fall to 6-6.

Game Highlights

  • The game was never in doubt, as the Polar Bears scored five times in the first 5:23, scored nine goals in both the first and second quarters, and held an 18-0 lead at intermission.
  • The Beacons finally got on the board after being held scoreless for the first 30:36, as Bowdoin coasted in the second half, scoring a season-high in goals and allowing their fewest goals in the same game.
