HARTFORD, Conn. – The Bowdoin baseball team dropped a 9-5 decision at Trinity to open the series on Friday.
The Polar Bears drop to 10-12 with a 2-5 NESCAC record. The bantams climb to 16-6 (3-1 NESCAC).
Game Highlights
- Bowdoin struck first with Liam Foley’s RBI single up the middle in the third inning.
- Trinity answered with two runs in both the third and fourth innings.
- The Bantams put four on the board in the fifth off a pair of doubles and two singles. Another single in the sixth made it 9-1.
- Bowdoin found four runs in the eighth inning, sparked by a three-run homer off the bat of Will Bordes. Reuben Siegel drew a bases loaded walk to make it 9-5.
