Softbball Season Ends In NCAA Loss to Cortland

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Bowdoin softball team saw its season come to an end in a 4-2 loss to Cortland in the NCAA Regional.

The Polar Bears (27-11) season ends in the NCAA tournament for only the second time in program history. The Red Dragons stay alive at 26-16.

  • Hester pitched 3.2 innings and surrendered five hits with four strikeouts. Sophia Hahn pitched the last out of the fourth inning.
  • Ava Biasotti pitched three innings with one hit, one strikeout, and one run allowed.
  • Maddie PaschkeRosie Panenka, Parga, and Sammie Wright all had hits. Panenka hit a leadoff double in the second.
