BRUNSWICK, Maine – A pair of Bowdoin women’s lacrosse players have been recognized in All-New England Small College Athletic Conference honors in awards announced on Tuesday.
Junior Grace Harvey (North Ferrisburgh, Vt.) has been named a First Team All-NESCAC selection while sophomore Katie Athanasoulas (Concord, Mass.) earned Second Team All-NESCAC honors.
Harvey, a midfielder, led the NESCAC and set a new program single-season record with 101 draw controls (6.73/game). Harvey also finished fourth on the team in scoring, totaling 24 goals and six assists while also finishing tied for the team lead with Athanasoulas in ground balls (32).
Athanasoulas, a defender, led the Polar Bears, and ranked third in the league, with 37 caused turnovers (2.47/game). She was also tied for the team lead with Harvey in ground balls (32).
