Big Second Half Run Leads Men’s Lacrosse to Win at Endicott

BEVERLY, Mass. – The Bowdoin College men’s lacrosse team used a big second half to pull away in a 16-12 win at Endicott on Tuesday night. The third-ranked Polar Bears move to 3-0 this season and deal the Gulls (4-1) their first loss of the campaign.

Game Highlights

  • An evenly-played first half saw the Gulls close the second quarter on a 3-1 run in the final 3:17 to take an 8-7 edge at the break.
  • After Bowdoin evened the score on a Jack Frischmann goal out of intermission, two straight Endicott goals put Bowdoin in a 10-8 deficit with 9:42 left in the third quarter.
  • It was all Bowdoin after that as Casey Ryan scored consecutive goals to spark a 6-0 Polar Bear surge that rolled into the fourth quarter and gave the visitors a 14-10 edge with 12:24 to go.
  • In all, Bowdoin ended the game on an 8-2 run over the final 22:42 to close out the win, the seventh in their last eight meetings with Endicott.
