BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Bowdoin College men’s tennis team cruised to a pair of NESCAC wins at home this weekend, dominating Connecticut College and Wesleyan to open a five-match homestand. The Polar Bears, ranked sixth in the latest Division III poll, improve to 10-3 on the season with the victories.
Conn College Match Highlights
- The Polar Bears easily dispatched the Camels to open the weekend, winning 7-0 on Saturday.
- Aden Dorros/Mick Tamas (6-1) and Jack Pollock/Cameron Zia (6-2) took wins in doubles play to secure a 1-0 lead.
- Bowdoin cruised to six straight-set wins in singles play to seal the match, courtesy of Mark Kneiss, Luke Riezebeek, Christian Stubbeman, Dorros, Tamas, and Pollock.
Wesleyan Match Highlights
- The Polar Bears took care of the Cardinals 6-1 to complete the weekend sweep on Sunday.
- Doubles wins from Kneiss/Jackson Codd (6-0) and Dorros/Tamas (6-1) gave the Polar Bears a 1-0 lead heading to singles action.
- Kneiss, Codd, Cameron Zia, and Andrew Mendelson all earned straight-set wins to put Bowdoin over the top.
- Kiran Garapati rounded out the Polar Bear winners with a 6-0, 4-6, 6-2 win.

Bowdoin will host Colby on Thursday at 3:30 p.m. at Pickard Courts before welcoming Trinity and Brandeis for a doubleheader on Saturday beginning at 10:00 a.m.
