Polar Bears Power Past Husson in Tuesday Baseball Win

BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Bowdoin College baseball team scored in six different innings to ease past Husson, 15-2, on Tuesday night at Pickard Field. The Polar Bears move to 10-11 while the Eagles fall to 7-10.

Game Highlights

  • Bowdoin scored in each of the first five innings, including crooked numbers in the first, third, fourth, and fifth frames to put the contest out of reach early.
  • The Polar Bears scored 15 runs on only nine hits, but racked up 15 bases on balls in the victory.
  • Will Bordes went 2-5 with five RBI while Reuben Siegel reached base four times on walks, scoring three runs and stealing four bases.
  • Will Cooke reached base four times, including three walks and scored two runs. Liam Foley walked three times and scored three times.
  • Bowdoin used seven different pitchers in the victory and Sam Almy got credit for the win, going 2.0 perfect innings, striking out two.
