HARTFORD, Conn. – The Bowdoin College women’s lacrosse team suffered a 17-5 setback to Trinity on Saturday afternoon. The Bantams move to 9-3 (5-2 NESCAC) while the Polar Bears fall to 3-8 (0-8 NESCAC) this spring.
Game Highlights
- Tate Ryan scored the opening goal of the game for Bowdoin, but Trinity rolled off five straight scores to take the lead.
- Bowdoin was able to cut into the advantage, scoring to end the first quarter and start the second as Ryan and Annie Bermingham found the back of the net, but the Bantams proceeded to score five consecutive goals to take a 10-3 lead into halftime.
- The teams traded goals in the third frame, but Trinity put the contest out of reach in the fourth, holding Bowdoin scoreless and ending the match on a 5-0 surge.

- Tate Ryan scores three goals – her third hat trick of the season – to lead the Bowdoin scorers.
- Grace Harvey had a goal, an assist, two caused turnovers and five draw controls for the Polar Bears.
