BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Bowdoin baseball team continued its hot streak with an 11-1 seven-inning win over visiting Thomas on Tuesday evening.

Bowdoin climbs about .500 to 9-8. The Terriers slip to 5-10.

Game Highlights

  • Bowdoin scored a pair of runs in the first inning to get the game started. Will Bordes and Cal Thompson both and RBI singles.
  • In the second, Will Logue drove in a run with a double to left center and Tommy O’Donnell tagged an RBI single to right center. O’Donnell stole second, drawing the throw, and allowed Bordes to score from third.
  • Robbie Perlman got on the board with a single to left in the fourth.
  • Wim Nook put the ball in play in the fifth and allowed Ryan Jaillet to score. Logue had an RBI single before the inning was out.
  • Thomas broke through in the sixth with one run, but Bowdoin answered in the bottom half of the inning to make it 10-1. Perlman plated O’Donnell and later scored on a wild pitch.
  • Bordes ended the game with a walk-off double to left that made it 11-1.
