CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Bowdoin College men’s lacrosse team scored the first five goals of the game and never looked back in a 17-5 win at MIT on Tuesday night. The second-ranked Polar Bears move to 5-0 on the season while the Engineers fall to 3-4.
Game Highlights
- Casey Ryan scored three times and Chris Berry added a goal and three assists in Bowdoin’s game-opening five-goal run.
- MIT cut the lead to 6-2 before goals by Ryan and Berry pushed the lead to 8-2 at halftime.
- Bowdoin pulled away in the third quarter with Sam Raye-Steiner and Huck Trafton each scoring twice in a 6-1 run that pushed the lead to 14-3 early in the fourth quarter, putting the contest out of reach.

- Chris Berry and Casey Ryan each had eight point games with Berry notching four goals and four assists and Ryan putting home six goals with two helpers.
- Sam Raye-Steiner had two goals and four assists in the victory.

- Defensively, Alex Byrne had four ground balls and a caused turnover with Alex Delgado posting 13 saves in 54 minutes in goal.
