Ticket Punched! Softball Earns At-Large Bid to NCAA Tournament

BRUNSWICK, Maine – For the second time in program history, the Bowdoin College softball team is headed to the NCAA Division III Tournament. The Polar Bears (27-9), who posted their highest win total since 2018, earned an at-large bid and will play in a regional at Moravian beginning on Thursday, May 14.

Bowdoin made their only other NCAA Tournament appearance in 2010, when they went 1-2 at a regional hosted by Wellesley College. The Polar Bears finished fourth in the NESCAC standings this spring and were ranked 39th in the final NPI rankings.

More information about the regional, including game times and ticket information, will be announced on Tuesday.
