BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Bowdoin College men’s tennis team coasted a 4-0 win over Roger Williams in the second round of the NCAA Division III Tournament Saturday morning. The Polar Bears (18-4) advance to the regional final on Sunday where they will face Babson in a rematch of last year’s third round match.

- Bowdoin took the doubles point in quick fashion, claiming a 6-1 win from Jackson Codd and Mark Kneiss at number one and a 6-3 victory from Simon Catanzaro and Kiran Garapati at number two.
- Needing three singles wins, Bowdoin took a trio of fast, straight-set wins to clinch it.
- Cameron Zia (6-0, 6-1), Andrew Mendelson (6-0, 6-1), and Jackson Codd (6-2, 6-0) took care of business to clinch it for the Polar Bears.
Up Next
Bowdoin will face Babson at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Pickard Courts in the regional final. Last year Babson defeated Bowdoin in the regional final, but the Polar Bears took the regular season meeting between the teams, 7-0, on March 21 in California.
