Baseball Heads to NESCAC Quarterfinal Series at Middlebury Beginning Friday

BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Bowdoin College baseball team heads to Middlebury, Vt., for a best-of-three NESCAC Quarterfinal series beginning Friday afternoon.

Game one is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. Friday with game two set for 11:00 a.m. Saturday. Game three, if necessary, will be 30 minutes following the conclusion of game two on Saturday afternoon. The winner of the series will advance to the NESCAC Championship Weekend hosted by Trinity on May 8-10.

The Polar Bears (15-18, 5-7 NESCAC) are the third seed out of the East Division while two-time defending NESCAC champion Middlebury (19-12, 7-5 NESCAC) is the two seed from the West. The Polar Bears, who will be looking to return to the championship weekend for the first time since 2023, have not played Middlebury in the conference tournament since 2006.
