BORROW MY BOUTIQUE CELEBRATES RIBBON CUTTING OCTOBER 29TH
Brunswick Boutique to Rent Designer Apparel

Brunswick, ME (October 22, 2015) – Borrow My Boutique, a Brunswick-based rental boutique, is celebrating its ribbon cutting on Thursday, October 29, 2015 at 5pm. The store is located at 124 Maine Street, Suite 104 in the Senter Place Building in Brunswick. The store will be open from 10a.m. to 6p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.

Borrow My Boutique caters to customers who want to update their wardrobes by renting designer dresses, handbags and accessories. The boutique offers customers an opportunity to rent dresses and for everything from interviews and meetings to weddings, proms and parties.  Customers also have the option to purchase any items in the store.  The boutique also allows customers to use the Rent to Own option for authentic high end handbags by designers such as Coach, Michael Kors, Kate Spade, Gucci and Louis Vuitton.  Giving customers the ability to break purchases up into affordable monthly payments. No credit check necessary.  Customers are also able to shop online at borrowmyboutique.com.  Borrow My Boutique will also be taking new and very gently used designer handbags and dresses on consignment.

Borrow My Boutique was founded by Ria Glenn DeMay and Stacey Rice, who met while working at Colby College. Ria is an attorney and Stacey a former Marketing Specialist.  However, Ria and Stacey wanted to try something different as they both share a love for affordable fashion and wanted to open a store dedicated to helping women feel their best without breaking the bank.

“I wanted to try a dress rental and handbag rental service and I thought what if customers could purchase designer merchandise for an affordable price and have the option to use a payment plan, that doesn’t involve opening a line of credit or paying high interest rates.”-Ria

“I love helping women feel good about themselves and look their best, especially if I can make it affordable.”-Stacey

To commemorate the ribbon cutting, the boutique will be having a sale and giving 10 percent of all profits to a local sexual assault prevention organization (Sexual Assault Support Services of Midcoast Maine).

Ria and Stacey will also be having periodic giveaways for those who join their email list. They recently gave away a Michael Kors bag valued at $248 to one lucky winner who joined their email list and liked them on Facebook.
