Farmers Market Bluegrass Jamboree to be Held at Topsham Fairgrounds

Friday, April 14th the Topsham Fairgrounds will hose the Farmers Market Bluegrass Jamboree featuring local bands Borderline and Rough Sawn.

Friday, April 14th from 6-10 PM the Topsham Fairgrounds will host the first ever Farmers Market Bluegrass Jamboree featuring local bands Borderline and Rough Sawn. The event takes place at the Exhibition Hall, home of the Midcoast Winter Farmers Market every Friday from 11-4, November-April.


You can access the Topsham Fairgrounds from Rt. 24 or the Rt 196 bypass. Admission is free for kids, with a $10 donation suggested for adults. There will be a farm-to-table menu and mocktails available from Turtle Rock Farm’s Market Cafe.


Borderline is Maine’s newest virtuoso string band, featuring Anthony Jaccorino on mandolin, Kate Greeley on bass, John Krainis on 5-string banjo, and Nora Krainis on guitar.


Rough Sawn is a band of farmers and carpenters from Portland and the Midcoast, featuring Seth Gallant and Ben Whatley on guitar, Steve Frens on mandolin, and Nick Whatley on bass.
